Gumbie’s Wood Fired Pizza was established in 2018 as, the owner Mat, aka Gumbie was transitioning away from his professional rugby career. The business started out doing weekly pizza deliveries around Hartpury Village followed by a regular pitch at the Royal Exchange pub which is the focal point of Hartpury.
After gaining a good reputation, private bookings around Gloucestershire quickly followed which has lead to fully booked summers for weddings and numerous other events
We have catered for weddings, birthdays, funerals, school leavers parties, corporate team bonding, staff appreciation days, and sports events. Some of our most visited venues are Elmore Court, Homme House, Maisemore Court, Hilton Hotels and Hartpury University.
